The easiest and most hassle-free way to use the DualShock 4 with your Mac is to simply plug in using a MicroUSB cable. The DS4 automatically works as a joystick in most Mac games over USB. Startech usb32hde driver for mac pro. This method requires no setup. Option 2: Bluetooth.

NoxPlayer only supports USB controller, bluetooth controller can not be supported.

MAPPING MODE: Plug in the controller to activate.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Plug the USB cable or receiver into the computer to connect. After a successful connection, the controller icon will be displayed on the upper left side of the emulator.

2. Press the controller icon in the toolbar on the right side to enter the settings.

1.ANALOG STICK: Drag the left stick to the direction handle to control the character’s displacement

2.Drag the right stick to the 3D game to control the character’s angle view or front sight

3.Drag the button to set the keys (to release skills)

4.MULTIPLE STRIKE: Press the designated key once for multiple strikes effect

5.Drag to adjust the opacity

6.Save the settings

Note: Generics, clones, knockoffs and third party devices are strictly unsupported.

The DualShock 3 and 4 can be paired with your Mac with Bluetooth or they can be plugged into USB. The following are instructions for pairing over Bluetooth.

  • Press the reset next to the L2 button with a paperclip.
  • Open Bluetooth preferences (System Preferences > Bluetooth).
  • Connect your controller via USB
  • Press the PS Home button and then unplug the USB cable
  • You will be prompted for a password to pair the controller. Enter 0000 as the password.

Your controller should now be selectable in OpenEmu's Controls preferences

DualShock 4

  • Press the reset on the back of the controller near the L2 button with a paperclip.
  • Open Bluetooth preferences (System Preferences > Bluetooth).
  • Press the PS Home button and Share button at the same time, until the lightbar quickly flashes.
  • Click 'Pair' on the controller's entry in the Bluetooth preferences window.

Your controller should now be selectable in OpenEmu's Controls preferences
